The MASH Study Group is a group of board certified, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeons focussed on hip injuries and hip preservation in the athletic and pre-arthritic population. The group’s co-founder, Dominic Carreira, is currently the President of the MASH Study Group.
Dr. Carreira presented at the FORE Sports Meeting in Chicago on August 16, 2015. This meeting was founded by the RUSH University Sports Medicine Faculty, which served as the orthopedic residency training program for Dr Carreira from 2000-2005. As an expert in young adult hip injuries, Dr. Carreira presented on two topics which he commonly treats, namely irreparable labrum injuries and hamstring injuries.
