Internal Snap
The diagnosis of an internal snap or snapping hip is made based on physical examination. Patients describe feeling a snap or click in the hip during movement of the hip, and oftentimes this problem is noted along with other hip abnormalities. This procedure takes approximately 5 minutes to complete and in some patients may cause weakness in the first months following surgery.
