Dr. Carreira presented at the FORE Sports Meeting in Chicago on August 16, 2015. This meeting was founded by the RUSH University Sports Medicine Faculty, which served as the orthopedic residency training program for Dr Carreira from 2000-2005. As an expert in young adult hip injuries, Dr. Carreira presented on two topics which he commonly treats, namely irreparable labrum injuries and hamstring injuries. Other various causes of hip pain and decreased functional performance were also presented during the hip portion of this fantastic meeting.
