The Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) sponsors several “hands-on” surgical technique courses per year at the Orthopedic Learning Center in Chicago. These courses serve as instructional courses for orthopedic surgeons, and are attended by orthopedic surgeons from around the world.

Dr. Carreira enjoys teaching and the academic interchange amongst colleagues as an instructor for the hip arthroscopy, foot arthroscopy and ankle arthroscopy courses.
