Labrum Reconstruction Chapter in New Hip Arthroscopy Textbook

A new textbook of hip arthroscopy, entitled Hip Arthroscopy and Hip Joint Preservation Surgery, is due to be published. Dr. Carreira and Dr. Philippon are writing one of the chapters related to hip labral reconstruction. Labral reconstruction is performed in the setting of an irreparable labrum and most commonly in revision surgery, for patients who have persistent hip pain and for those who have failed previous hip arthroscopy and labral debridement. The chapter will describe the surgical technique of arthroscopic Iliotibial band autograft or allograft and will be published by Springer.
