A leading medical researcher and arthroscopic surgeon of the hip, foot, and ankle, Dominic Carreira recently served on a panel in the first of ISHA’s 2026 educational webinar series, sharing his experience and expertise on the topic of early arthritis. On a panel hosted by his MASH Study Group colleague, Anil Ranawat, Dominic offered his insights on this important topic, sharing his practice and research-backed opinions with a global audience of hip doctors and specialists. Within the context of treating early arthritis, the discussion explored when injection treatments are the best regimen, what and when to scope a patient’s joints, and finally, when replacement is the correct medical protocol.
Early Arthritis: International Panel of Medical Hip Preservation Experts
A key component of ISHA’s webinar series is bringing together leading surgeons, physicians, and medical professionals to examine and discuss key topics in the preservation of the hip in both young and older patients alike.
