A leading hip, foot and ankle arthroscopic surgeon, Dr. Dominic Carreira has produced three new educational videos to share with his patients and others in the community. As a medical professional, Dr. Carreira is committed to patient education and regularly adds new materials to his website to help his patients and more understand the complexities of their ailments and the medical (both surgical and non-surgical) treatments that Dr. Carreira delivers.
New Educational Videos
In the spring of 2016, Dr. Carreira and his team of medical professionals produced short educational videos on the following three topics:
- An orthopedic hip exam, as Dr. Carreira typically provides for his new hip patients;
- A comprehensive foot and ankle exam, again as Dr. Carreira typically provides for his new foot and ankle patients;
- A detailed demonstration of applying a bulky Jones dressing, used in connection with the treatment of a Jones Fracture.

About Dr. Dominic Carreira
A board-certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced training from three orthopedic fellowship programs, Dr. Carreira specializes in foot and ankle, young adult and adolescent hip preservation, and sports medicine.
As part of his extensive training, Dr. Carreira completed a Foot and Ankle Fellowship with Dr. Mark Myerson and Clifford Jeng at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction. He also completed a Foot and Ankle and Arthroscopic Fellowship in Seattle, Washington, and a Sports Medicine and Hip Arthroscopy Fellowship with the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado.
